Mountain biking is more than just a hobby. It is an outlet, an obsession. As a rider you want the best possible equipment on your bike so you do not need to worry about anything except yourself, your riding and the track. It doesn’t matter what style of riding you do, cross-country to downhill, you deserve to have full confidence in your equipment. Our products are designed with a distinct gravity orientated leaning, however, the use of the best materials and no compromise design results in bomb proof products with no weight penalty to satisfy cross-country riders.

WHO ARE WE?
HUCKTOFLAT was founded by Jonathan, a Brisbane based mechanical engineer with over 7 years design experience in the aftermarket automotive industry. A background of mechanical engineering design and mountain biking obsession led to the creation of HUCKTOFLAT.
The goal of HUCKTOFLAT is to design and produce the highest quality and best performing products possible. With a small product range all of our energies can be channelled into the highest quality design and with a focus of never compromising on design we are producing products that rival the best in the industry.
All products are thoroughly designed, prototypes are tested by a number of riders in different disciplines and revised until the result is deemed “perfect”. Although achieving absolute perfection is impossible, excellence can be achieved.

Rory
HUCKTOFLAT Supported Elite Racer
A former motocross racer, Rory was convinced by a mate to give this non-motorised bicycle sport a crack. Bursting onto the scene, proving he’s good on anything with two wheels, Rory has been excelling at Gravity Enduro racing. Finishing 1st overall (Elite) in the 2020 Scenic Rim Gravity Enduro Series and 4th overall (Elite) in the 2020 SEQ Gravity Enduro Series. Being the fastest gravity enduro rider on flat pedals in the SEQ series we are stoked to have him riding on our products.

Founder & Product Design Engineer
Overly optimistic of his riding abilities, his enthusiasm far exceeds his ability. Combining that with his less than delicate approach to riding, ensures that all products are bomb proof. He’s now obsessed with Gravity Enduro racing, with solid results in age group races with a few cheeky podiums thrown in occasionally. Rumour is there could be some DH races on the cards.

HUCKTOFLAT Supported RIder
Resident HUCKTOFLAT freerider, gets all of the first product prototypes to be the guinea pig. Seems to live on some kind of bicycle whether it be of road, BMX, enduro or downhill variety. Most often found at Boomerang Farm Bike Park either maintaining the dirt jumps and sessioning them on the BMX, throwing style down the trails on the “big” bike and always up for a run down the big line when it’s open.

HUCKTOFLAT Supported RIder
When he’s not in hospital getting stitches from crashing in easy places, he can be found claiming he’s “cross training” on motorbikes or jetskis. Rides XC to Enduro and has started dabbling in Gravity Enduro racing, not doing too badly for an old bloke, rounding out the 2021 race season with a couple of top podium steps in local races.
